Rebekah's School of Dance Handbook Agreement Form and Policy
(2016-2017) (rev. 8/16)
Attendance / Absences
Regular attendance is critical for dance progress and success. Class attendance is taken each week. If you have
a planned absence, please let us know in advance. If you are sick or unable to attend class at the last minute, a
courtesy call or email prior to class is very much appreciated. In order to have a successful session and recital
we ask that you miss no more than 3 classes. Tuition must be paid regardless of the student's attendance each
month. Refunds are not given for missed classes.
If a student wishes to drop a class prior to the end of the session, prompt notification is required. All
withdrawals are effective as of the date which Mrs. Ciannella, the School Director or Office Staff (not your child's
teacher) is notified. Students/families are responsible for tuition until that time and will be pro-rated if necessary.
Be advised, if you order costumes and then withdraw from any class, you are responsible for the entire balance.
Families are emailed (it is your responsibility to keep your email on file current) as soon as we decide to close
school (usually it is by midday of a snow day). You may also call the studio, or check our Facebook page. Make-
up classes will be planned as needed. No refunds will be given for missed make-up days.
